UPDATED 8/19/26

2nd Grade Dismissal Traffic Instructions

2nd Grade Dismissal Traffic Instructions (Back of the School)
To help ensure a safe and efficient afternoon dismissal, please follow the traffic pattern below:
  • 10th Street will be one-way eastbound only during afternoon dismissal.
  • All vehicles traveling on 10th Street must proceed east to Dover Ave.
  • At Dover Ave., drivers may turn either right or left.
  • No through traffic will be permitted on North Annapolis Street during dismissal.
  • There are only two lanes at the back of the school:
  • Left Lane – Park & Walk: This lane is designated for families who plan to park and walk to the school.
  • Right Lane – Car Riders: This lane is specifically for vehicles remaining in the car rider line.
  • The Center Lane is NOT used for student pickup. Please do not use the center lane to pick up your child.
  • If you are in the right lane closest to the school, please do not exit your vehicle. This lane must remain moving for car rider dismissal.
  • Please use the left lane if you need to park and exit your vehicle to walk to the school.
  • Follow all posted signs and directions from school staff to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in making afternoon dismissal safe for all students, families, and staff.
