District Student Information System

Penelope Sims is entering her 28th year of dedicated service with Sheffield City Schools. As the District Student Information System Specialist, she provides strategic leadership in the management and integrity of the district's student information systems, ensuring the accuracy, security, and compliance of critical student data. Her expertise supports informed decision-making, state and federal reporting, and the efficient operation of district and school processes.

In addition to her district data leadership, Penelope serves as the supervisor of the district's New Teacher Mentor Program, overseeing the implementation of mentoring and support for beginning educators. Through collaboration with mentors and school leaders, she helps cultivate instructional excellence, professional growth, and a positive transition for new teachers into the profession.
