Thank you for a great start!

Welcome from Mr. Stricklen

Dear Threadgill Primary Families,
It is with great excitement, gratitude, and honor that I welcome you to a new school year as the proud Principal of Threadgill Primary School! I am truly thrilled to begin this journey alongside our students, families, faculty, and community as we continue building a strong foundation for our smallest Bulldogs.
The primary years are some of the most important in a child's educational journey. It is here that children discover a love for learning, develop confidence, build friendships, and establish the skills that will carry them throughout their lives. At Threadgill Primary, we have the incredible privilege of helping shape those first experiences, and I could not be more excited to be a part of that mission.
As your new principal, I am committed to creating a school where every child feels safe, loved, challenged, and inspired every single day. We will foster an environment where curiosity is encouraged, kindness is celebrated, and excellence is expected. Together, we will ensure that each student has the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally while discovering their unique gifts and talents.
Our school motto, "Every Student Matters. Every Moment Counts.", will guide everything we do. Every smile, every lesson, every encouraging word, and every achievement—big or small—helps lay the foundation for a lifetime of success.
I firmly believe that education is a partnership between school and home. When families and educators work together, amazing things happen for children. I encourage you to stay involved, communicate with us often, attend school events, and celebrate each milestone alongside your child. Together, we will create an exceptional learning experience for every Threadgill Primary student.
As we begin this school year, I look forward to getting to know each of you and watching our students learn, grow, and thrive. The future is bright for Threadgill Primary, and I am honored to serve this wonderful school community.
Thank you for trusting us with your most precious gift—your children. I cannot wait to see all that we will accomplish together as we build a tradition of excellence and create unforgettable memories for our smallest Bulldogs.
Here's to an incredible year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and Bulldog pride!
With excitement and appreciation,
Miguel Stricklen
