Mental Health Services at Sheffield City Schools

SCS is fortunate to have partnerships with Riverbend Mental Center for Mental Health and the Healing Place.  

Riverbend provides individual and family therapy and medication support. Referrals for school-based mental health are made by our school counselors and mental health coordinator. Services are provided on our school site. Due to COVID, protocols are in place that would allow a student to receive in-school services at home via telehealth.

The Healing Place provides grief services at our school site. Healing Place counselors conduct support groups on a monthly basis.
