Mrs. Kimberly Motton

My name is Kimberly Motton and I am the Assistant Principal of Threadgill Primary School. This is my second year as a member of our administrative team and I look forward to each additional day I am here! I graduated from Athens State University with a degree in Collaborative Teacher K-6. In addition, I hold a Master of Science in Collaborative from the Univesity of Phonenix and a Masters of Science from the University of North Alabama in Instructional Leadership. Lastly, I hold an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of North Alabama. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the students, parents, teachers, and staff of Threadgill Primary School and the Sheffield City Community. There are exciting things happening at Threadgill and I am happy to announce that these things will continue to impact student growth and achievement. For the past fifteen years, I have enjoyed the privilege of working with students as a special education teacher and an assistant principal.

My primary objective as an Assistant Principal is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students at Threadgill. I will always focus on the whole child not only through academics but also socially and emotionally. I desire that all students are afforded an opportunity to actively participate in challenging and engaging experiences that will help them become productive and responsible citizens. I encourage parents, students, and teachers to visit me if you have any concerns or if you just need to be listened to.
