Operation Santa is a Christmas Assistance Program coordinated by Sheffield City Schools for students in need who attend W.A. Threadgill Primary School and L.E. Willson Elementary School. Sheffield City Schools is proud to partner with local businesses, churches, and inviduals for Operation Santa for the third year in a row.
Our goal is to provide each child in need with 4 things: something they want, something they need, an outfit to wear, and something to read. We also strive to provide these families with the supplies to make a Christmas dinner.
This program is not designed to provide all of the Christmas gifts for the children. We are trying to help our families in need. All of these items are donated because other people care about the children in Sheffield.
