The first Daddy Daughter Dance at Threadgill Primary School was a great success! On Saturday, April 8 Threadgill girls put on their party dresses and had a fun night with their Dads. Teachers decorated the school and provided an awesome experience for the students, including arranging to have Disney Princesses serve as event hosts. Principal Matthew Syesta said his teachers put in a lot of hard work, "But, I knew every minute of work was worth it when I saw the joy and excitement reflected in our little princess' eyes." Teacher Marissa Kiddy said the teachers began last year to think of an event for the girls. "We all felt our little girls deserved to know how a little lady should be treated and how a little lady should act." The teachers felt this would be a fun way to demonstrate that for them. Thank you to the dance committee, parents, administration, and community for making the event a success.
