SchoolMint Online Student Registration

Sheffield City Schools (SCS) is pleased to announce that the yearly school registration process for SCS will now be completed via an online service. The online registration will eliminate paper registration and eliminate parents from going to each school to register their child(ren) in the district.

SCS has partnered with SchoolMint, which provides a secure, web-based platform that allows parents to verify the accuracy of student information and complete many of our required yearly forms. If you have more than one child enrolled in SCS you must register them for each school, but you will not have to repeat some of the same demographic information. The online registration process can be completed online or using a phone app. If you are not comfortable registering online or via the phone app, each school will have computers available for parents who do not have a computer\digital device or who need help with the online registration process.

Over the next few weeks, you will receive information regarding school meetings, username and password information, as well as information on the registration process. As we prepare to transition to online registration, all students will be required to upload two proofs of residency, immunization card, birth certificate, social security card, and a parents driver license. Specific instructions for submitting this documentation will be provided as you complete the online registration process.

Our desire is to complete as much of the registration process as possible via the online option. Again, the individual schools may require some additional information in paper format. If that is the case, you will receive that paperwork request from the schools. We are anticipating the best school year yet in 2018-19. We look forward to seeing you and our students in August.
