Dr. Timothy Morgan attended the University of North Alabama on a basketball scholarship from 1976-1979. He received a Bachelor of Science, Master of Art, and Education Specialist degree from the University of North Alabama. In 2002, Dr. Morgan received his doctorate in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Morgan has 28 years in education. He has served as teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal. Dr. Morgan taught and coached in Sheffield for 11 years. He also served on the Board of Education in Sheffield for six years (1996-2002) while serving as an elementary principal in the Colbert County School System.
Dr. Morgan and his wife Kim have two boys, Ross and Reed. Ross graduated from Sheffield in 2004 and the University of Alabama in 2009 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Reed is currently a senior at Alabama majoring in Biology.
