Graduated with honors from the University of North Alabama with a double major: Human Resource Management and Marketing.  Graduated from Calhoun Community College with three associate degrees: Business Administration, Accounting, and General Education.  Achieved honor as the Most Outstanding Student in Business Administration, and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.  Obtained certificate in Stenography from Muscle Shoals State Technical College.  Graduated from Rogers High School in Greenhill, Alabama with the Best Typing Award.

Has been with Sheffield City Schools as Secretary to the Superintendent since September 1998.  Contracted with General Electric as a Warehouse Supervisor at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant from 1997-1998.  Was an employee of Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) from 1986-1997 working at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in various administrative positions.  Was laid off from TVA due to major downsizing.

God has blessed me with two children and two grandchildren, a wonderful family, and Great people with whom to work.  I love traveling (taking either long or short trips), spending time with family and friends, and reading.
