Sheffield City Schools presents a balanced curriculum that will prepare students for the demands of the future in both the workplace and postsecondary education.  The district adheres to a challenging set of standards for students to meet before the end of each grade level.  The skills and abilities students acquire as they move from pre-k to twelfth grade will enable them to be successful on required state assessments and prepare them to be productive citizens in a global economic society. The goal is to implement sound curriculum and instructional methods to meet the needs of the students of Sheffield City Schools and to teach them to be life-long learners.
