There is a lot to love about Threadgill Primary School, from the outstanding teachers that grace our classrooms to the brilliant students that walk in our doors.  I think that you will find that our passion for educating our students creates a school climate that is warm and inviting, second to none in the Shoals area.  At Threadgill, we take pride in making sure that we have high expectations for all students and a rigorous, student- centered curriculum.

Mission Statement

Vision Statement
Threadgill Primary School's vision is to excell at producing educated, motivated, and self-sustaining students who unleash their potential into an ever changing society. 

2017-2018 School Wide Goal
By May 2018 Threadgill Primary School will increase the percentage of students who meet their annual growth goal on the Scantron reading assessment by 10%.  This means that by spring 2018 70% of students will meet their growth goal whereas by spring of 2017 only 64% of students met their growth goal.

Also, by May 2018, Threadgill Primary School will increase the percentage of students who perform in the top two quartiles (average high and above average) on Scantron reading assessment from 41% in sping 2017 to 45% in spring 2018.

School Time School Hours and Special Days School starts promptly at 8:00 and dismisses at 3:00 for students in K-2nd. PreK students dismiss at 2:30. There will be no early dismissal on Wednesdays, Instead, we will dismiss at 11:45 the first Thursday of September, October, November, February, March, and April. Read More
Ice Cream Ice Cream Sales 1st and 2nd Grade students may purchase ice cream on Fridays with their lunches. Pre-K and K may purchase ice cream on Fridays beginning on August 25th. Read More
